MOTOR-CYCLE NUISANCE

(To the Editor of the Herald.) Sir,—Some may disagree with what follows, but I fancy that such some will be a tiny decimal, fraction of the whole. It is the horrible and hideous noise- of the motor-cycles which not only annoy the strong; but are far from helpful to the sensitive. Cannot a movo be made to ameliorate the nuisance, not of the cycles but the seemingly inconsequent creatures which make all the splutter.— Yours, etc., LESLIE 11. REYNOLDS.
