The testator’s uncle left him £2.0C0.030 in 1900. The testator lived as a country gentleman. He had a palatial home in Kensington Court and supposedly kept bis expenditure within the income. The founder of the family fortunes was the testator’s Scottish great-uncle, who came to London with the traditional sixpence. He became a drapery shophand, married 1 1 is employer’s daughter, and founded a warehouse.
