DEBTS TO BRITAIN
PAYMENT BY TURKEY

The Turkish Government has completed the punctual payment of a sum to liquidate pre-war private claims of British subjects and companies against the Ottoman Government. The total was agreed in 1930 at £20,000, to hq. paid by five equal annual instalments beginning in December of that year. The distribution of the final payment is now being made. ____
