TUESDAY’S CARNIVAL
The programme for the Gisborne Swimming Club’s carnival, to bo held at the Macrae Bath next Tuesday evening, has been arranged as follows: 100yds Men’s Championship, 100yds Intermediate Championship, 100yds Boys' Handicap, third distance, for Cookie Cup, Of. 2-3yds Cadies’ Handicap, third distance for the Gordon Gup, 33 1 -3yds Laburnum Handicap, 50yds Cadies' Handicap for Mr. O. 10. Brown’s trophy, :50yds Men’s Handicap, 33 I-3yds Intermediate Handicap, dive, novelty events, inlay, and water polo, H.M.S. Laburnum v. Gisborne club.
Entries for the above events close on Saturday at 5.30 p.m.
The, swimming carnival which the Gisborne Swimming Club had planned to bold at iTc Puia on January 29 has been cancelled as the fixture -would clash with a carnival that the Tokomaru Bay Swimming Club is to hold at Tokomaru Bay on the same day.
