LONDON, Dec. 10,
The Trades Union Congress lias accepted the proposal for the .affiliation of the Medical Practitioners’ Union, to’ which 5000 doctors belong.
The union was founded in 1915. Affiliation is sought in order to protect members engaged by local authorities.
As all Congress unions are selfgoverning, a strike against the sick is declared to be unthinkable.
