TRAWLER ASHORE
GAPING HOLE IN SIDE
SYDNEY, Dec. 25,
The small trawler, the Eileen, sprang a leak while proceeding from Sydney to Jervis Bay, and was' beached off Kurnell. She is now high and dry, but; if temporary repairs can be effected, she may be refloated on the prevailing high tides. The crew of five are camped on the beach.
A gaping hole in the vessel’s side reduces the nope of refloating her.
