HAWKE CUP CRICKET
HAY’S CHALLENGE
Although the Taranaki-Afanawatn match does not end until to-day, it is a foregone conclusion that it will be the Alanawatu team that Poverty Bay will meet in its challenge for the cup. The Poverty Bay team will leave Gisborne during the* week-end, and tho match will be played at. Palmerston North, the final selection of the team being made on the ground from the 12 players who will make the journey. Play will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week, and the team will return to Gisborne on the Friday,
