ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
LADY SUPERINTENDENT
VPPOINTMENT CONFIRMED
Advice has been received from Colonel G. Barclay, chief commissioner for the New Zealand St. John Ambulance Brigade, llmt he has sanctioned the appointment as from September 1 last of Miss W. Lysnar to he lady divisional superintendent of the Gisborne Nursing Division.
For many years Miss Lysnar has held a prominent position in the Girl Guide movement, and her experience in this connection will prove of great, assistance in the administration of her duties in tho St. John Ambulance. Miss Lysnar will' still retain her position in the Girl Guido movement.
The position of lady divisional superintendent was held formerly by Dr. Nina Muir, who found it necessary to resign on account of professional duties. Dr. Nina Muir has accepted the position of divisional surgeon in conjunction with Dr. W. A. Bowie.
