(Herald Correspondent.) Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Jensen are spending the annual school holidays at Tuai, Waikaremoana.—Miss E. Linton will spend the Christmas school vacation at her home in Gisborne. She has terminated her position as schoolmistress in the Bay and will resume her duties in the New Year at Patutahi.—Miss E. McPherson is with her • parents in Napier during the interim of school work.—Mrs. D. R. James was a recent visitor to Gisborne.—Mrs. H. Williams and her two children, Joan and Keith, were in Gisborne for the, recent festivities.—Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Bradley lately motored to Gisborne on a brief visit.—Mr. J. M. Edlington, Puketoro, is motoring northwards during the Christinas and New Year holidays.—Hr. L. Henry and Miss B. Reid, Hastings, are the guests of Mrs. W. H. Bradley till the New Year.
