Duhig, of Brlghane,' with the contribution “The :Killing Passion/’ Mr. Eric Btadwell, at Wellington, New inland, 'was a close second, with “Zero Hour,” while “'phe Qolden Door,” submitted by Miss Una Craig, Epsom, Auckland was highly commended. Seventy-eight play a were received, the judges declaring that “Zero Hour” was brightly and capably written with a definite plot involving orderly process of action.
