RATIONING WORK
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Interviewed to-day, the Minister of Education said that lie had authorised the continuance of the scheme for rationing work among teachers during 11)36.
'Certified teachers, who are not in permanent positions, will be employed next year. Teachers appointed under the 'scheme will occupy positions usually filled by probationary assistants, relieving teachers and additional assistants.
Those teachers who are relieving in higher and more responsible positions will receive salary in accordance with the regulations relating to relieving teachers, and those who are sent to relieving positions in grade 1 schools will be paid £l2O per annum. All other relieving teachers will be paid £92 per annum.
