RELIEF WORKERS’ PAY
LARGE DISTRIBUTION
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day
The sum of almost £50,000 is being distributed among relief workers in Die Auckland metropolitan area this week. It comprises pay for the week’s work just completed, two weeks’ holiday pay, and an extra week’s pay as a Christmas bonus.
The men are receiving from £$ to £7 each, according to classification, hut will not. receive any more for fhree weeks.
