TROOPS FOR THE SAAR
INTERNATIONAL FORCE

(British Official Wireless.) Ree. 2 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 20. A further party of British troops arrived in the Saar yesterday, comprising a detachment of officers and 40 of the East Lancashire Regiment. A similar party of the Essex Regiment reached Saarbrucken this morning and proceeded immediately to quarters at Brebach, Grnbo, and Ilcinitz. Over 100 Army Sendee Corps' and medical corps personnel arrived by the same train, and remained at Saarbrucken.
The troops received tho most cordial welcome from the French civil and military authorities on the ijournsy across France. They took breakfast as the guests of the French army at Thionville.
The main body of infantry, composing the British part of tho international force, will leave England to-morrow, and will be accorded an official reception, landing at Calais early in the afternoon.
Italian troops for tho Saar were reviewed by Signor Mussolini" in Rome yesterday. One battalion left in the evening.
