Mr J. W. Collins, New Zealand Trade Commissioner in Canada, who has relumed to (he Dominion on three months’ leave, visited Gisborne yesterday and left for Rotorua this mornin Mr A. H. B. .Tones, who was recently appointed assistant inspector for New Zealand of the Bank of New South Wales, in succession to Mr F. W. Marris, who retires at the end of the ve,ar, has now received notice of his appointment as inspector of the central division of New South Wales for the bank. Mr .Tones was formerly manager of the Christchurch 'branch. —P.A.
