SUDDEN DEATH
MR. J. HAROLD NELSON A. well-known electrician of Gisborne, Mr. James Harold Nelson, died yesterday at his residence, aged 45 years. While preparing to attend the reception to the Duke of Gloucester he suddenly became ill. He lay down, but before a doctor could be called he bad passed away.
Tiie deceased was bora in Sunderland, England, and came to New Zealand about 1912. For a time lie resided in Auckland, but shortly after his marriage to Miss Minnie Garrick in 1913 lie came to Gisborne, remaining here ever since. Mr. Nelson was a recognised spot light expert and was responsible for providing pleasing illumination at many of the local dances. Deep sympathy will be extended to his widow and two sons, Masters Ronald and Bernard Nelson, in their sad loss. An inquest was to be held this afternoon.
The funeral will leave the deceased’s late residence, 4 Waitangi street, at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow for the Taruhera cemetery.
