RUMANIAN DEBTS
PAYMENTS TO BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 18. The question of trade debts by Rumania to the United Kingdom was further discussed .between the president of the Board of Trade and M. Manuelescu.
Mr. Runciman emphasised that the payments of these debts in sterling within the shortest period possible was regarded as essential by Britain. M. Manuelescu undertook to consult his Government with a view to a resumption of negotiations early in January.
