Excellent reception, even in daylight, of the new Auckland tY-Af broadcasting station, which commenced regular operation on Monday, was repotted .front many places in New Zealand,' Erom Kaitaia, at one end of the Dominion, and 'Southland, at the other, messages were received coipmepding the volume and tone oi the new transmitter of 10 kilowatts, the most powerful in Australia or New Zealand. Transmissions during the next few weeks will he in the nature of tests, and necessary adjustments to the equipment will be carried out.
