CHINESE FINED £IOO (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Chinese premises in Quaid’s road, Belfast, were raided by police yesterday. As a result, in court to-day, the occupier, Fong Lee, 50, a gardener, who had been before the court three times previously, was fined £IOO and costs by the magistrate, Mr. E. D. Mosley, for permitting the place to be used for the smoking of opium. Lay Sun, for being on the premises without lawful excuse, was fined £l2 10s, and costs.
