FOOT-AND-MOUTH
CATTLE SLAUGHTERED '‘i BRIGG (Lines.), Nov. 6. Two further outbreaks of foot-apd-mouth disease were reported in the Brigg area to-day. This brings the number of affected farms since the original outbreak to 24, and the number of animals slaughtered to over 3000, estimated to bo worth £20,000. The Ministry of Agriculture officials are moving their headquarters from Lincoln into l Brigg to-night in order to be nearer the newly-affected farms at South Kelsey and Searby. To-morrow Barnetby Fair, the principal stock market for supplying Grimsby, Brigg and Seunthrope, wifi be tlosed.
