PROTECTING INVESTORS
N.S.W. COMPANIES BILL SYDNEY, Dec. 18. The new Companies Bill introduced in the New South Wales Parliament follows on the lines of the British and New Zealand legislation. It gives ample protection to the public when seeking investments ; controls prospectuses and the financial arrangements of companies; demands standards of efficiency and administration; and restricts or prohibits share-hawking.
