BOROUGH WATER SUPPLY MUST BE CONSERVED EXPENSE OF PUMPING Further reference to the serious position which has arisen in connection, with the borough water .Supply owing to the continued drought, was made at last evening’s meeting of the Borough Council, and the Mayor, Mr. John Jackson, urged upon the people the necessity of conserving the supply as far as possible, in order that the necessity of pumping from Mangapoilce, at heavy expense, might he obviated.
