INLAND WATERWAYS
VAST U.S. PROGRAMME (Received Dec. 19, 11 a.in.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 18. The Secretary for War, Mr. G. 11. Dern, announces the expenditure of €68,655,000 for the improvement of inland waterways, and plans to expend a further £1,600,000 on improvements if Congress approves.
