ESTATE OF £13,000
LATE MR. H. W. HUDSON ONE-THIRD TO EDUCATION (Per Press Association.) .' .... AUCKLAND, this day. The estate of the late Mr. H. W. Hudson, of Remuera, who died on November 217, lias been sworn for probate purposes at under £13,000. Mr. Hudson was managing director oi Messrs. L. D. Nathan and Company, 'Limited. , Among other' provisions, the. will directs that, subject to a life interest, one-third of the residue of the estate is to be paid to the University of New Zealand, to bo held by the university upon trust to apply half the income from the fund for the purposes of a scholarship or scholarships in agriculture at Canterbury Agricultural College at Lincoln, or 'Massey Agricultural College. The other half of the income from the fund is to be applied in founding a scholarship in engineering at Auckland University College in memory of Mr. Hudson’s late son, Lieutenant E. GHudson, who was killed in action.
