John Thomas Backhouse, 20, and John Veich Crichton, also known as Jack Euman, Y 7, charged, with breaking and entering and' theft,‘ pleaded guilty, and were Committed" f 6r 1 sentence. Crichton was also committed for sentence on a charge of indecently assaulting a six-year-old girl. An application for bail for Backhouse was refused. There were also five charges of car'conversion against the pair, and ih'ese will ho dealt with by the magistrate after' the accused have been, before the 'Supreme Court.
