The floral decorations of the room and tables wore artistically carried out in mixed blue flowers, while pride of place at the bridal table was given to the handsome three-tiored square wedding cake, which was iced in white and ornamented with silver. The guests were received by Mr, anti Mrs. Ouseley, the latter wearing a smartly modeled ensemble of Lido blue cotille crepe, tho coat being in swagger and the frock trimmed with hand fagotting, and a becoming hat of blue hnllibuntal straw trimmed with touches of white. She was holding a lovely - shower bouquet of tea roses and maidenhnir fern. , Mrs. Shanks, mother of the bride- ] groom, wore a handsome frock of black gecvvgetto trimmed with ti.viks ,nitd touches of white, and a black straw hat relieved with white, and carried a beautiful bonrpiet of red and purple carnations and maidenhair fern. The usual toasts were honored during the Wedding breakfast, and later iji the evening the bride and bridegroom left on a, motor tour of the northern districts. Shankß—Onselby Holy Trinity Church was the scene of a Very pretty wedding last evening whom Marian, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Ousel'ey, ftityly street, was married to Stewart Wilson, older son of! Mrs. Shanks and flic late Mr. W. % Shanks, of Mamituko. Canon A. F. Hall conducted: the marriage service,, and Mr. W. C. Ivohir presided at the organ.

The bridal veil of silk net was beautifully embroidered and scalloped at the edges, and arranged to the bride’s head in becoming fashion with a coronet of orange blossom. Ivory satin shoes and silk hose, and* an avit'stic sheaf of lbvely Christmas' lilies completed tho bride’s picturesque toilette. Tile bridesmaids, Miss Tui Ferris, chief, Miss Ruth Shanks, sister of the bridegroom, Miss Kao McCarthy and Mis 3 Olwen Salmon, wero dressed alike iii very pretty frocks of turquoise blue georgette. Each frock was cut on long graceful lines, and had a cowl neckline. short sleeves of accoreliou pleated frilling, and a long graceful skirt trimmed from, near the knees to tfio hem with a series of graduated godots edged with narrow accordion pleating. The back of the bodice was fastened with a row of blue buttons, and 1 aroiiud 1 the waist was a sash of velvet' ribbon in a deeper shade of blue to match the dainty silk mittens and bine velvet slippers worn by each bridesmaid, on whose bend was a quaint cap Of tin'quoiso blue georgette arranged, with a becoming how at the hack and trimmed with a touch of deep bltie velvet.
