£45,000 TO CHARITY
LATE LADY ROSS COLLEGES BENEFIT (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, thi,s day. Under the will of the late Lady Boss, certain Dunedin institutions will benefit to the extent of .bln,ooo. Out. of the residuary estate of the deceased, bequests of £IO,OOO each will be paid to Hi. Margaret’s College and the .John Mc.Glashan College, ,aml the remainder of the residuary estate will be applied to completing the south wing of Knox College, an endowment fund for the same college and for purposes of tho Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Beneficiary Fund and Training Institute. Other bequests are £SOO to the Prisoners’ Aid Society, £IOO to the Plunkec Society, £SOO to the V.W.C.A., £SOO to the Presbyterian Social Service Association, and an annuity of £IOO for asistanec to necessitous students at Knox College.
