TAURAN.G A, PROPOSAL The Tauranga Co-operative Dairy Association af tlie half-yearly meeting of suppliers, is circularising dairy companies throughout the Dominion urging an amendment of the regulations governing local supply so as tp permit of the sale of'cream, after pasteurisation, direct from the dairy factory. It is contended that pasteurised cream could be sold direct at a much cheapei rate than is at present being charged by licensed dairymen, and still show a profit over butter-fat prices. The adoption of the proposal, it us claimed, would benefit all dairy factories.
