EXPRESS DERAILED
SABOTAGE IN INDIA ONE KILLED; MANY INJURED (Received Dec. 17, 2 p.m.) CALCUTTA, Dec. 16. A woman passenger was killed, and many seriously injured, including the driver and fireman, of the Rangoon to Mandahiy express, which was derailed throufeh the deliberate removal of fishplates near it bridge 117 miles from Rangoon. ; . Three carriages crashed into a ditch and were smashed to matchwood. The engine .and several other carriages capsized. Fortunately, most of the wrecked carriages were empty, otherwise a heavy death roll would .have been likely.
