Admitting 12 charges of false pretences, by means of which he obtained nearly £2O in money, board, taxi hire and goods in a number of New Zealand towns, Charles Mozart Kpiniey, 49, a cook, was Fcntenced by Mr. R. M. Wat-! son, S.M., in the Napier Magistrate's Court, to terms of imprisonment totalling 13 months.
