INTER-CLUB PLAY KAHUTIA V. POVERTY BAY Six full rinks from the Poverty Bay Bowling Club visited the Kahutia green on Saturday, for iuter-club competition under the auspices of the Gisborne Bowling Centre. The games were divided into three sections, and Poverty Bay scored four wins out of six games, the following being the results: Section I.—Bennett (Poverty Bay) 20 beat Rothwell (Kahutia) 15; McKenzie (Poverty Bay) 17 beat P. Smith (Kahutia) 15. . Section 2.—Wilson (Poverty Bay) 19 lost to J. J. Martin (Kahutia) 21; MacGibbon (Poverty Bay) 15 lost to J. E. Newton (Kahutia) 31. Section .3.—Blackburn (Poverty Bay) 18 beat Morse (Kahutia) 17; Hickman (Poverty Bay) 18 beat Jenkins (Kahutia) 13. ■ ' Summary.—Section 1: Poverty Bay 37, Kahutia 30.
