Holiday Clothes

OOLIpAY clothes are a pretty serious problem. Your holiday can be completely ruined if you take the wrong clothes with you. Tried and trusted shoes will add five years to your life .and joy to your holiday. If you must have new shoes, buy them, at least a month beforehand, so, that you can train them to co'me to heel. Two or three tub frocks will be useful, and the best material for them is- creaserr.esistiug. zephyr or gingham in cither stripes or plaids. The most useful style will bo the shirt-waist style, with short sleeves, a neat collar, and buttons right down the front. Shofts of the same material should be worn'under them. This-shape is particularly useful, because the dress can be worn over a bathing dress and slipped off on the beach. Crease-resisting chiffon, patterned, is the cheapest, most effective, and also the most useful material for evening drosses. If they are made with capes or. coatees t,o match, no evening coat nepd be packed. A cotton, sun hat is an essential. Get one that packs, flat; it solves a packing problem.

Another space savor is a dressing g6wn of towelling, because it can be used either for beach or bedroom. • 'Achin' twfced 'suit for travelling and colder days, with a heavy matching overcoat, beach sandals, waterproof walking shoes, one or two bathing dresses, one v or two tennis dresses, will almost complete the outfit.
