Light to moderate northerly breezes were general. The barometer had continued to rise slowly. Temperatures at 9 o’clock were; Auckland, Tauranga, and Napier 72 degrees, Opotiki 70, Gisborne 75, and Wellington 65. Rough seas were reported at Cape Campbell, Wellington, and Castlepoint; elsewhere moderate or smooth. Last Night’s Forecast An anticyclone extends across the north Tasman Sea and!
