BRITISH NOTE ISSUE (Received Dee. 15, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 14. To meet the Christmas currency den mauds, the Bank of England in the past week issuod additional notes valued at £7,774.009, raising the total active note circulation to £393,221,328, which is the highest in the bank’s history.
