KILLED ELEPHANTS
0.8.E.’ MEDAL FOR NATIVE Edward Omara, a native of Uganda, has been awarded the medal of the 0.8. E. (civil division) for two acts of gallantry against elephants. One was driving off and killing with his heavy hunting spear a wounded elephant that had pinned a game scouf to the ground; the other was killing—again with ihia-spear—an elephant which was terrorising a, village.. ’ .
