The New Zealand High Coimnissioner, Sir James Parr, accompanied by Mr David Jones, visited Bristol, and was tendered a luncheon at .the docks and a banquet at Mansion House. , ~ Sir James expressed New Zealand s o-latitude at the fact that the West Country was her best muling area, particularly for butter and lamb, the arrivals of which at Avonmouth had increased nearly fivefold since his previous visit in lh2!L
