The prohibition of the playing of organised games on school grounds on Sunday was affirmed by resolution of the Canterbury Education Board yesterday. It has been Ihe practice ol some school committees to allow m'T’r' players the right to play tennis <m yc.au<lays on the. school courts and this practice the board decided must not continue. The chairman of the hoard stated, however, that the resolution would not apply to bathers and the swimming clubs making use of the school baths on Sunday.'
