The sum, of £2OO was awarded as damages for lihoi to .Tollands, Limited, manufacturing agents, of Wellington, in a suit brought against H. F. Stevens, Limited, wholesale druggists, of Christchurch, in the Supreme Court. Mr Justice Johnston said he did not think that, malice had entered into the letter sent by the defendants. The letter was, however, to a certain extent reckless and careless, Stevens should have confirmed his information before making such rash statements.
