ACTIVITY AT SINGAPORE 20 WARSHIPS SAIL (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received' December 14, 12 noon.) SINGAPORE, Dec. 13. Twenty wareraft are now sailing from Singapore for an unknown destination, preparatory to the launching of the biggest attack on Singapore yet attempted. The fleet includes the aircraft carrier Eagle, from which an aerial attack will be launched. The entire shore defences, including European and native volunteers, will resist any attempt to land, while shore aircraft will endeavor to repel the • ‘invaders.”
