NEW ALTITUDE RECORD
WILEY POST’S FLIGHT
BARTLESVILLE, Dec. 12. Mr.’Wiley Rost was informed to-night by the United States Bureau of Standards that he had failed to reach an altitude of 48,086.36 ft. necessary to set a world's altitude record during his last week’s flight.
