Letters from three boys and five /iris in New Zealand describing their pets and their father’s •estates, etc., and asking for replies have reached the Children’s Society in Tokio, whose secretary, Miss Chiyoko iSato, said she would be delighted to establish contacts with Japanese children.. Such innocent and juvenile friendships were among the strongest bonds of goodwill between nations.
