WEDDING
SAVAGE—RIDDIFORD The* wedding took place on Tuesday at St. James’ Church, Lower oi‘ Pamela, younger daughter of Airs Vivian Riddiford and the late Air Riddiford, and Peter Copeland, son of Mrs T. Copeland Savage and the late Mr Savage, Auckland. The Rev. Archdeacon Ilansell performed the ceremony.
The bride wore a beautiful gown of magnolia satin, simply made with puff sleeves, a girdle of pearls at the waist, and the skirt forming a long train. Her lovely old veil, lent ‘by her grandmother. Airs Thorne George, Auckland, was arranged with a small wreath ot orange blossom and pearls, and she carried a bouquet of cream roses. The bridesmaids, Misses Kathleen Cameron, chief, Alarye Savage, sister of the bridegroom, Rosamund Riddiford, and Cecilia Pharazen, wore frocks of mist blue chiffon, wreaths of blue crystal in their hair, and carried bouquets of deep red roses. The best, man was Air Pat Elliott, Auc k land.
A very quiet reception was held after the ceremony, only relations and intimate friends being present.
