NO OPENINGS
TRAINED DIETITIANS The annual report of the Home Science Faculty of the Otago University states that tlie fact that the larger hospitals ot the Dominion offer no openings lor trained dietitians has resulted in several of the more capable graduates accepting positions abroad. It is earnestly hoped that the time is not far distant when hospital authorities will recognise the importance, both from the health and the economic standpoint, of establishing wellorganised dietary departments in their institutions. This would meet the need of supplying advanced training and experience for graduates without necessitating their going abroad.
