DAIRY LEGISLATION
APPROVAL OF FARMERS (Per Press Association.) CARTERTON, this day. Mr. Ren Roberts addressed a meeting of dairy farmers on the question of the commission's report and on tin* recent dairv legislation. At the conclusion, the meeting unanimously resolved: “That while supporting tim Government legislation relative to” the rehabilitation of the dairying industry, it is keenly regretted that neither the commission nor the Government brought down any financial proposals to. save the industry from disaster.”
