MORRO CASTLE CLAIMS
NEW YORK, Oct. 10. ‘Virtually 300 notices of claims which will total millions'of dollars, have been tiled against owners of the Ward Line as a result of the fire which destroyed the liner Morro Castle, with the loss of more than 130 lives. Some claims are for as much as £100,000; hut the operators of tho linor are attempting to limit tlieir total liability to £4OOO under Admiralty law.
