ON HER MAIDEN VOYAGE.-The Waiwera arrived at Gisborne to-day on her maiden voyage to New Zealand. The Waiwera is one of three vessels ordered by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company for its London-New Zealand service. The length of the vessel is 535 ft 6in, with a gross tonnage of approximately 10,760.
