OBITUARY
RTR HAROLD .WALKER (Received November 6, 3 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 5. The. death is announced of General Sir Harold Walker, who temporarily commanded the New Zealand Brigade at the Gallipoli landing, and succeeded General Bridges to the. command of the First Australian Division at Gallipoli and afterwards in Flanders. MR. PUT UK HUY US (Received Nov. 6, 3 p.m.) SYDNEY. Nov. 6. The death has occurred of Mr. Peter lieye.s, formerly Commissioner of Taxes mi New Zealand, aged 79 years.
