NO-CONFIDENCE MOTION
NATIVE ADMINISTRATION - LABOR PARTY’S ATTACK %' (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. When the House-of Representatives met this evening, Mr. M. J. Savage, Leader of tho Opposition, gave notice of his intention to move next sitting day:— “That tho House express grave alarm at the irresponsible methods adopted in the administration of tho Native Department as disclosed by the report of the Native Affairs Commission, and is of the opinion that tho Cabinet failed in its duty by not immediately accepting its collective responsibility to safeguard the public funds and tho welfare of the native race, when advised of the position by responsible officers of tho Crown."
