INVASION OF AUSTRALIA
HERR BANSE'S NEW BOOK
BERLIN, Oct. 23
Herr Ewald Banse, in a book, “What Germany Must Know about Foreign Countries,” expresses the opinion that India and Australia are equally ripe for invasion. He says: “The army of Australia is inadequate to resist invasion.” There is little sympathy for the Motherland, and so here, too, political cutting adrift is possible.”
Following the publication of a jingoistic book, “'Germany Prepare for War,” Herr Banse was dismissed from his post at the Technical High School, Brunswick, and forbidden to use the title of professor.
