Legitimate tailoring is the only trade in which handwork is acknowledged to he altogether superior to machine work, it pays more in wages, proportionately to materials, than any other trade, and, in the changing conditions. it offers a surer chance of life work than almost any other occupation. _ In fairness, the position should be rectified and a refund of past excesses allowed if many businesses are to continue.
