Fashions in Lingerie
THE rcvolufitlouary new fashions in 1 lingerie will be launched in November in London. The Duchess of York, will sell the most fashionable undergarments of the new seasonthe petticoat—at this exhibition of the Royal School of Needlework on November 29. A revolution at this exhibition will be the revival of sets of three gar-ments—-petticoat, chemise and knickers —in place of cami-knickcrs, -which, according to u London dress expert., are loss fashionable than they were. Petticoats have returned for day clot lies, because so many modern fabrics, especially those for tennis frocks, are aerated. They have also returned for wear under slit evening skirts, and lace flounces or massed flowers will trim the part tiiat peeps out. Nightdresses with shoulder straps that cross over at, the back are another lingerie mode. Eccentric colors, such as green and black, have gone out. Baby blue is. the latest color for the lingerie drawer, and a favorite standby is peach.
